Since 1988, the Vancouver International Writers and Readers festival has welcomed some the world’s best writers to Vancouver, such as Margaret Atwood, Alice Munroe, J.K. Rowling and Michael Onddaatje. This year, one of the feature authors is Denise Chong, whom we featured in our Gender Issue 14.4 and reviewed her book reading at VPL.
The festival allows undiscovered artists to interact with over 14,000 readers in a variety of settings at the event. Whether you’re a nouveau novelist or a lover of words, share your passion for the literary world at various events, such as readings, panel discussions, performances or interviews offered throughout the festival.
