Hi everyone!
Welcome to our new Ricepaper blog! We thought with the large number of amazing volunteers here, who better to document the life and times of Ricepaper than those that help produce the magazine?
You should have received the latest print issue by now.
With the appointment of our new editors Ray and Kristin we wanted to take Ricepapaper into a newer and fresher direction, which led to the revamped redesign of the magazine you hold in your hands!
To give you a glimpse of what occasionally takes place at Ricepaper headquarters, here is a celebratory video of our editor, Ray Hsu, opening the first box of freshly printed copies of the magazine.
So what do you think of the new issue? We always love receiving feedback on what you think about the magazine, what we should get rid of, and what you can’t get enough of. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome! You can send your thoughts to editor@ricepapermagazine.ca, or just comment below.
In the meantime, stay tuned for more posts. We’re excited to bring you the latest news on what’s happening at Ricepaper and in Vancouver’s vibrant cultural arts scene, and can’t wait to explore what “Asian-Canadian” is all about. It’s going to be an awesome summer.
