Kim Fu (18.1) and Kim Thuy (20.1) Are Longlisted For Canada Reads 20151 min read

On March 16-19, 2015 CBC presents Canada Reads: One book to break barriers, an event where influential books duke it out on a public stage. The Canada Reads 14th edition’s longlist of books set to battle include three of Ricepaper Magazine’s good friends, Kim Fu (For Today I Am a Boy), Kim Thuy (Ru), and Lee Maracle (Celia’s Song).

The books selected to be a part of Canada Reads 2015 are ones that challenge stereotypes, change perspectives, and address issues.

The panelist as well as the shortlist of books will be revealed on January 20, 2015.
