Karla Comanda is originally from the Philippines. She currently lives and writes in Vancouver, where she pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia.

You’re in the MFA Creative Writing program at UBC.  It’s one of the most illustrious writing schools in Canada.  What’s it like?
