Ricepaper Call for Submission: “Is There Hope Left?”
Inspiring stories deliver hope, shine light on the good in this world, and help us persevere during difficult times. To start 2021, we are looking for creative works that instill hope in readers. Share with us whether from the past, during the present, or in the future, what you put your hope in, what you hope for, and/or where you see hope. Show us how and why hope is important.
We accept short stories, creative non-fiction, poetry, drama excerpts, photo essays, interviews, and manga/comics. We accept writing from authors of all cultural backgrounds, however, the focus of the issue concentrates on roots from across the Pacific, including writers of East Asian, Southeast Asian, and South Asian descent.
Deadline closes April 30, 2021.
