Call for Submissions: Mapping the Landscape of Emotions1 min read

Emotions shape our lives in profound ways, colouring every experience and connection. From joy to sorrow, anger to serenity, hope to despair, emotions are at once universal and deeply personal. This collection explores the vast and intricate terrain of human emotions, showcasing works that capture the rawness, beauty, and complexity of what it means to feel.

We invite submissions that delve into questions such as:

• How do emotions define or defy us?
• What role do emotions play in shaping relationships, identities, and communities?
• How are emotions expressed, suppressed, or misunderstood across cultures and histories?
• How do we make sense of conflicting or paradoxical feelings?

We encourage creative interpretations of the theme, including but not limited to:

• Celebrations of joy, love, and triumph.
• Narratives of grief, anger, or longing.
• Explorations of emotional resilience or vulnerability.
• Critical examinations of emotional labour and its impacts.
