The artist reads a book.
The book provides an idea.
The idea, entrapment, leads
to a framework, a framework
of thinking. Are we trapped
in our own bodies, which
we are one with but also not.
Our bodies house us
but do we desire to
escape our own bodies.
The artist builds a house.
The house is made of cardboard.
The house is too small for
the artist, but the artist moves
into the house. For several
hours, the artist is trapped.
After several hours, the artist
breaks free. The artist films
the breaking. The artist
overlays stills of the breaking.
The artist begins
painting.
