Be surrounded by the spoken word! Ricepaper will have a booth at the World Poetry International Festival in Richmond! The World Poetry International Festival brings together international poets and local multicultural poetry groups. There will be a First Nations welcome, dignitaries, music, as well as a Gala Dinner at the Mad Greek Restaurant. Each selected international poet will present their poetry, launch a book, or read a paper. There will also be a multicultural unity poetry display by various poets from around the world. If you have a chance, come by the Ricepaper booth! Join in the fantastic showcase of wonderful poets from around the world!

About World Poetry International Festival: The World Poetry Organization was created by Ariadne Sawyer and Alejandro Mujica-Olea and has been in existence for over 12 years, beginning with the goal to provide a much needed venue where multicultural, multinational poets, writers, and those in other artistic disciplines could perform in English and in their language of origin. The World Poetry Reading Series at the Vancouver Public Library, World Poetry Café Radio Show on CFRO, The World Poetry Electronic Newsletter, World Poetry Publishing, World Poetry Workshop Series, World Poetry Night Out, and the World Poetry Celebration Series are all components of a World Poetry movement based in Vancouver, B.C.
