Ricepaper is an active volunteer driven non-profit organization that is proud of the talented and creative people who have passed through our ranks over the past sixteen years. Many of our dedicated volunteers and staff have gone on to become accomplished writers or now work in the media; many have garnered peer recognition and industry awards.
Ricepaper is always on the lookout for new dedicated volunteers who want to be part of the ever expanding Ricepaper team. We offer fun times, junk food in the form of nachos, networking opportunities with the arts and culture communities, and the opportunity to have an inside look behind the scenes of the only Asian Canadian literary arts magazine in the country.
Available volunteer positions include:
- Event Coordinators
- Office Assistant
- Copy Editors & Proof Readers
- Some internship opportunities are also available. If you are a student in a publishing related program, you may be able to do your work experience project at Ricepaper. Please inquire.
